Hey /ck,

I'm going to cook ribeye steaks for my mother's birthday Friday. I've cooked them before and they turned out great, but this time I need to cook 5, and I don't know how I'm going to do it.

The method I've used is broiling a cast iron pan, then searing them on each side for 30 seconds, then broiling them for 2 minutes on each side.

I could barely fit two in my pan, and while I may be able to use a second pan from a friend, that still leaves one steak out.

What do?

Put the finished steaks on a plate in the oven on the lowest it will go, or heat up a plate and put them on that.

all cooks are faced with this sort of decision at some point.

just decide who you like the most or can benefit the most from, and give them the good ones that were just cooked, and keep the others in foil or something until ready to serve.

life is a never ending compromise.

In Britain most likely. Are their teeth even strong enough to rend flesh?
