I bought pork last week and stuck it in the freezer... The sell-by date on it is March 2-- 3 days ago. Is this still okay to eat? I'm still defrosting it in cold water, so I can't give it a whiff. Thanks

I'm usually hesitant to buy meats that are on sale now... I bought some pork ribs from Fresh & Easy that was on sale, froze it, and a couple of days later when I was defrosting it, it smelled really funky and I threw it out.
