As long as you are buying "Spicy Hot" you are doing it right. Now just add some vodka to it in a glass with ice.

Pic related. Its a haiku I just wrote.

BLOODY MARY

64 oz Clamato or tomato juice

1 bag of lemons

3 tbs Worcestershire sauce

2 tbs grated horseradish

2 tbs celery salt

hot sauce, to taste (maybe 1 tbs)

Juice a bag of lemons, combine with juice in a large pitcher. Add everything else, mix well. Serve over ice. Some people add vodka, but I don't drink and why would you want to dilute it anyway?

At first I was going to ask: what the fuck is "1 bag of lemons?"

>assuming "1 bag" is a recognized measurement

But then I kept reading and saw that you wrote "Some people add vodka".

The very first thing you wrote (in all caps, was, "BLOODY MARY".

A Bloody Mary is an alcoholic beverage. When I'm on a plane and don't have extra money to spend, I often order bloody mary "juice", but in no way would call that a bloody mary (it also comes it a can).

But if you are going to give a Bloody Mary recipe, at least call it a virgin Bloody Mary. In any case, I don't know why anyone would bother making such a drink without adding alcohol...

>You actually wait to get to the restaurant to start your buzz? Hue.

Touché good sir, you have made a valid point.

The short answer is, no, I typically have a cocktail/aperitif before going out to eat.

However, I see the Bloody Mary as a breakfast/brunch drink (aside from when I am flying and have to deal with jet-lag and all of that). That said, when I go out to eat for breakfast or brunch, I do not typically drink anything (perhaps other than water, or a quick cup of coffee, if I have to drive).

In other words, whenever i order a Bloody Mary at a restaurant, I am not typically already buzzed. If I make Bloody Mary's at home, I never really put in the effort to make them quite so elaborate (but nonetheless maintain a reasonable cocktail to garnish ratio).
