one of these delicious ingredients shall be banned forever from your eating list.

Have to get rid of the onion.

Without garlic I'll never get a cute Korean girlfriend.

Why do you hate me OP

>> No.4263021

It'd have to be garlic, although I'm not happy about this turn of events, not happy at all.

>> No.4263027

I'd rather kill myself then wlive without either onion or garlic

>> No.4263030

Onion. I can always just use shallot or leek instead. You can't replace garlic, though.

That bird's already wearing her preggo outfit, it'll never let you hear the end of it. Bang it and be gone.

>> No.4263079

Oh fuck...ok. Sorry, onions. Garlic is just way to amazing to ever live without.

>> No.4263087

I'll be honest I put garlic in a load of stuff but unless it's a main ingredient I've no idea if I can taste it. I've never really made something that needs it without it though so I don't know if I'd miss it.

Onions however, are necessary

>> No.4263095

Onion, i can live without it and it can be replaced if needed.

Garlic is too important

Yeah. I use shallot quite a lot anyway and I can learn to love leek. Of course, I prefer onion for its relative ease of use and the fact that it doesn't require the cleaning that leeks do coupled with the generally stronger flavour associated with onion v leek, but I can always adapt.
I can't think of a single thing that would adequately replace garlic, though. Asafœtida sorta tastes like it, but not enough that it'd be a sufficient replacement besides the fact that I'd never again be able to make tajin tuum djaj, chicken 'pot-roast.' It's made with about 100-150g of garlic cloves for an average-sized chicken and a bunch of spices. That's about 50 cloves of garlic. So good.
