For a basic basic burger, which chain is better compare to the rest?? Location is Socal with access to Chick Fila, 5 Guys, In n Out, your big 3: Wendy, MCD, Burger King, Jack, Del Taco, Taco Bell, and Carl Jr.

I like a lot of fast food but the truth is, I've only visited one establishment - Burger King - twice in the past year. I most likely won't go anywhere else besides Burger King in the future..

Not too pick when its comes to fast food, I like it all except for Arby's.
Its not bad, I'll eat a beef and cheddar if someone brought some home, it's just boring food.

My favorite fast foot place right now is Panera Bread, their tomato and mozzarella paninis are great (I don't care much for their other paninis though), it's not cheap though.

Worst (and most disgusting) has to be Subways.

I have to say Taco Bell and Burger King are the worst tasting.

I used to like BK too, I think it was because I only had it 1-2 times a year. I've had it that many times in the past couple months and am now not a fan of it at all.

Tastes shitty.

The only redeeming thing about BK is that they happen to grill the meat which gives it a unique taste and is probably the only reason people go there. Other than that the meat is probably the lowest quality fast food meat, the buns and toppings are awful, the fries are probably the worst in fast food, the chicken in any form there is bad, the shakes or whatever are bad, and while some of the newer BK's are nice alot of the older ones are filthy, sticky, rundown and disgusting.

Chipotle, Panera, McDonalds, Wendys and Taco Bell are pretty excellent fast food options.

The worst fast food includes Five Guys, Qdoba and Checkers.

Uh, actually they don't. All three of the major burger chains don't add much more to the meat other than salt. I know most people probably think that fast food burgers are probably loaded w/ all kinds of chemicals and weird shit but they really are not. McDonald's admittedly does get by on brand recognition, aggressive advertising, and locations, but they actually have waayyyy better ingredients and food quality than Burger King. I remember McDonalds used to be dirty and sticky places, shit always in the toilets, etc, but in the last decade or so they've cleaned up their act. Burger King, on the other hand, is now in the same state; roaches, rodents, dirty restaurants and dirty bathrooms. And their food quality has suffered greatly. They need to fix their shit.

wendy's is my go to place around here. I just buy from the "value menu" cause everything else is over priced. And I never buy a drink there since the fountains are behind the counter.

I remember when fast-food used to be characterized by fast and cheap.
Nowadays a relatively decent meal can run about 7 USD when you include meal tax which is significant when you consider so it's no less expensive than many lunch items at casual restaurants.
i mean, they still sell the 1$ stuff that's like pure shit at McD's and burger king, like their crappy fountain drinks or shitty fries / beef patty on soggy white bread.

one thing i'll always notice about places is how fresh/tasty their vegetables are. if i get a rubbery piece of lettuce and a slimy pale tomato i'm out.

i think that's why even though it's overpriced i'll always pick panera/those knockoff mexican places like qdoba and chipotle

Crinkle cut are the absolute best fries. The cuts allow more surface area to be in contact with the oil, which in turn means there is more crispy outside per fry. Also they are far superior for dipping into sauces and condiments as the unique jagged surface allows a grooved surface for sauces to stick to as well as having more surface area per fry meaning more sauce per fry. If cooked correctly crinkle cut is superior in every way with the possible exception of waffle fries. Debate me on this, faggot.
