Not lunch, closer to dinner but:
pan fried salmon with rice that was cooked in chicken broth and sauteed zuccini+garlic.

I had a pan fried chicken breast, steamed quinoa, and a tundra brewery brown ale which I'm still finishing off.

I had some leftover stew made with white beans, chickpeas, tomato, sweet potatoe, lentils, cabbage, cilantro, etc. It is pretty awesome

i haven't decided yet. think i'm going to make some kind of creamy spinach sauce out of milk/cheese/spinach, let it reduce for a bit, and then pour it on top of a chicken and tomato omelette.

for some reason that sound appetizing right now.

It's an old Italian america traditional meal. I use a recipie from lidia bastianich as the framework. Don't be so sad bro. It's delicious and freezes well for another three dinners.

Fun fact: it's an Italian thing! We eat tomato sauce made with many simultaneous meats in my region. One can include:
large chunks of fatty beef
large chunks of fatty pork
oxtail
large chunks of veal
beef roulades stuffed with parmesan rinds and garlic
pork sausages

All in the same dish. Of course, to include all those meats would imply cooking 7 litres of tomato sauce, which isn't unheard of for some families and their Sunday lunch.

Calzone stuffed with cheese, pepperoni, onion, mushrooms, and tomato sauce. Nothing canned or jarred.

Made one for my mom earlier that was great. Have mine proofing right now.

I made BLTs using candied bacon and homemade mayo. The bacon took forever to cook though. As in an hour. It's okay, my boyfriend ate my portion for me.

I have one packet of ramen left and some green onion. That's all the food I have.
