Where do I get (((pastrami))) meat in bulk so I can freeze and make my own sandwiches? Sam's Club, Costco and BJs doesn't have it. Not interested if I have to buy it online for a crazy markup like everything you buy online. I can drive a few states over to a Costco business center or maybe a chain of restaurant supply stores if they are open to the public.

Do you have any Greek, Turkish, or Lebanese delis near you?

Look for a deli run by Hungarians/Jews/Hungarian Jews. They should have it.

Costco sells both precooked gyros strips and tzatsiki sauce. I can look up the brand names later, but I think the meat brand is "Daphne's".

Then what is this:
https://www.bjs.com/product/beef-top-round-pastrami-075-15-lb-standard-cut/3000000000000192911

That looks like pastrami to me.

It's literally just brine and oven cooking, or smoking. The brine is the hardest part because it uses pink curing salt, but the rest is standard pickling spices and bbq spices. Coriander, pepper and paprika is all you need for the rub.

The hard part is waiting.

I'm back. The tzatziki sauce brand name is "Hannah" and is item number 595006. The gyros meat brand name is indeed "Daphne's" and is item number 1363747. Those plus some chopped onion and seeded diced tomato are breddy gud, not Wally's quality but then again Wally's closed permanently forever. ;_;

Pastrami isn't even jewish, they stole it from some romanians. What food items haven't they stolen I wonder?

Not OP but appreciate the detailed info, I’ve thought about picking up the gyro meat at Costco and will give it a shot next time.

>>20102186
Is corned beef close enough? IDK about Sam’s Club or BJ’s but the regular Costcos normally carry it for St Patrick’s (and may even clearance it out afterwards).

>> No.20105705

Preteen bjs doesn't have it where I am. I mean, you could buy it from the deli but that defeats the point.

Kroger… I think they would just weight and sell you a chunk of boars head if you asked. If you want the good stuff get it from Katz’s off gold belly.
