Wtf did you expect? It's the reason I never volunteer anymore. it's not because. of their skin color, it's because they constantly talk down to you like "the help", even when you're volunteering.

I helped make/give out sandwiches for a charity after a flood ruined a bunch of black houses, and almost none said thank you. Probably 50% had some comment like "what's in dis? I'on eat pork, what else you got?" or "barely any meat in dis, dissa a damn cheese sandwich, where da damn meat". Even when they're at their lowest, they find ways to complain about people helping them. Never again.

It’s odd. Poor people are somehow the most entitled. Same shit at the hospital. It’s the poor people complaining about the food, tv channels, pain medicine, perceived slights etc.

Last patient complained they had been given a sandwich for lunch instead of a real meal. She threw it at one of the pregnant aides and accused her of eating her real lunch. And they’re so hard to discharge. They always appeal their discharge to etch out an extra day or two in a place they claim is terrible.
