A look inside: I guess it's feasible that the side next to the panel would be more insulated from the cold air in my house. But that's kind of lame if the bread machine just does this by design. This was an expensive top of the line Zojirushi (I got it at a garage sale for 5 bucks though)

Wrong, the other poster is saying the exact same thing, just the opposite way, instead of fluffing the flour to add some air weight, they're adding more water/flour depending on what they need.

Its the same result, you need to adjust your ratio of water/flour.

The easiest method is to just fluff the flour as I highlighted, and it's also the answer that marked the thread as "solved". So clearly the OP agreed.

Yes, I know how a level works. The bubble shows that the table is leaning slightly to the left, so if anything, that would be sending the loaf more to the left side of the pan. That is proof that the table is "level enough" for this application, and the table levelness isn't the issue. I didn't feel like typing all this out earlier.

In the picture, it is slightly off, but is the machine itsell level?? I assume it has airspace under it and 4 feet, right? I would assume the machine is broken and has uneven heating elements, and/OR you could shove a wedge under one side of the machine to tilt it a bit and report back about the results.

Dude just say you've never used a bread machine. Kneading dough takes forever and is tiring, and makes a huge mess of the kitchen. You have to get a bunch of shit dirty, flour all over the counter, and then you have to babysit the bread while it rises, in the winter it's too cold so I have to set it on the radiator and turn it regularly, then take it out and touch it again and get your counter sticky again, let it rest again, you're using this oil so it doesn't stick to the bowl. Then you have to manually transfer it to the oven and babysit it until it's finished. The whole thing is like 30-60 minutes of active work and 30-60 minutes of mindful watching in a 3-8 hour timeframe, and half the time it doesn't even work right because there are so many variables. With the bread machine it's so much easier, you just dump all the ingredients into the pan and set the timer before you go to bed and you wake up with hot bread waiting for you. 10 minutes of active work and 0 minutes of monitoring, and no cleanup whatsoever. And it comes out perfect every time, and it even uses less energy than the oven.

Ok, so you're using an appliance to automate the breadmaking process too. You're not allowed to talk shit about "working with your hands" if you use a mixer to do the hard part. At that point why not just get a bread machine, it takes up less space and does more for you.

lets all assume we have a mixer to mix—blender, hand mixer, food processor, etc, youre conflating general appliance with single-purpose appliance. a mixer != bread machine. however as wonderful as the kitchenaid is it doesnt shape the dough, or roll, or punch or know if its dry, overhydrated, etc, those are done by your manos amigos. bread machine is for faggots, simple as. hang your head in shame if you own one.

The bread machine has a setting to make dough without cooking it, with or without an initial rise, so you can take the dough out and cook it in the oven if you want a round loaf like you showed, or spaghetti or bagels. That alone makes it less of a unitasker than a mixer. It also makes jam so that owns you double.
