People here (and in general) love to talk shit on fast food but the reality is that these corporations employ entire teams of literal food scientists whose entire jobs are to painstakingly fine-tune slop recipes in order to be as addictive as possible. When taco bell introduces a new sauce, that sauce recipe was the best out of dozens if not hundreds of variations that were created by people who do nothing but blend chemicals for a living and were focus tested for months in order to single out the optimal composition.
