Is fast food on a suicidal course right now. They're making a profit right now sure, but between terrible customer service and insane price hikes most consumers are going to have a "never eating here again" experience with at least one or likely several fast food places in just this year
>Uppity Popeyes employee tried to convince you that they ran out of every single dipping sauce in the store but then after minutes of arguing it turned out they were just too lazy to open up a new pack of them, never eating there again
>The pizza hut $20 family box is $31 now, never eating there again
>KFC managed to find a chicken breast smaller than a wing and charged $12 for the meal with it that was called the "five dollar fill up" a few years ago, never eating there again
It seems like they're all their entire future customer base away just so they can have a few good quarters this year, especially when real restaurants only raised prices a few bucks after trumplfation

Average IQ dropped like 10 points last decade. It peaked in the 2000s after decades of consistent growth and now it is on a downward trend becoming lower every year.

You can put two and two together and extract your answer from that bit of information regarding costumers and their standards or what corporations will be able to get away with.

I only eat McDoanld's. Not even fat. It was getting expensive, so one day I wondered what would happen if I just straight up walked to a car in the drive thru while they were placing their order and just asked the person if they could get me a Big Mac and fries...and without hesitation, he simply added it to his order and then I went around and waited for him on the other side. He handed me my food and then drove away—I never saw him again!

...And suddenly I had opened a door that couldn't be closed. I tried it again later, and the same thing happened. Without skipping a beat, they just added my order to theirs....I met them at the exit and they just gave me my food. Some people even have given me money WITH my food. I've been doing this every day for 10 years, and IN those 10 years I've only had two people refuse and one of them even claimed he forgot to order it. Some people have ignored me, but again, it's only happened like five times. Then maybe around 2017 I started asking people at walmart if they could buy me a pair of shoes, and then I just go back and return them for store credit until I can buy a tv, PS4/5, tablets, or bicycles and then just sell them outside WITH a receipt for like $50 off.....or whatever I can get for them. I start early and by midday I've made about $500.

Lastly, the walmart thing works also if you have a shopping cart filled with SOME food (you can't overdo it) and make sure you get in front of an old lady that looks nice, and then just keep swiping an old debit card and act embarrassed. THAT ONE ALWAYS HAS WORKED. I'm also on EBT so I get free food from the government! Stop spending money on food! You wouldn't believe how many people just give you free shit. You've got to have a good delivery though; like a sales job.

Consumer-oriented corporations are strongly in favor of importing brown people and advertising their products to them because they know that they have low standards for both food quality and customer service. The only downside to this is that every once in a while some fat black woman trashes your dining area or bitch slaps one of your minimum-wage workers because she got dem cold-ass fries. The two things that caused me to mostly stop eating fast food were:

1. Realizing that I can buy the ingredients and just make the damn thing at home in at least 80% of all cases, for a fraction of the cost
2. Hitting overweight BMI and not being able to fit into pants I bought five years ago

Only reason to eat fast food nowadays is if you don't have immediate access to your own kitchen. It's getting more expensive, the portions are getting smaller, and gods help you if you ever decide to get ripped off even more by buying the fries and drink.

I don't want to go off topic, but the self-checkout at Home Depot is a goldmine. Just throw in masonry drill bits (the REAL expensive kind) and anything made of copper into a cheap plastic trash bin, and then go to the landscaping section and throw a big wet bag of wood chips in there.....and then hide it somewhere in the store; buy something cheap and then leave. Come back after a shift change and then just grab your plastic trashcan filled with like $1,000+ worth of shit and then just do a quickie self checkout when the place is really busy. Wear a facemask and cough up a fucking lung so no one comes and asks to "see what's inside." But IF THAT HAPPENS, just claim you were there to get the trashcan and just be like "I was wondering why it was so heavy."

See, that's what I do first thing in the morning; stash the trashcan, and then I do my McDonald's/Walmart thing and then return to the Home Depot and get my trashcan. Works out perfectly because you want to look poor when you're doing the McDonald's/Walmart thing, but you want to look like you're a construction worker so you blend in at Home Depot. So some worn Dickies pants and a shirt with a reflective vest over it (no one questions the reflective vest) and you've got your outfit for the day! I tell you, there's nothing more addicting in this life than being a grifter.

There's another one where you save the good parking spaces at the mall with red cones and then sell the spot for $5. If they say no or threaten to report you, park your scooter there and then shrug and walk away. MAN I feel like I should write a "how to book" on these sorts of things.

There are plenty of places that are minmaxing their products and bloated shitholes like McDonald's are going to have to adapt soon or die. If Little Caesar's can still give me a decent pizza for less than $11, then why the fuck would I pay $20 for a barely better pizza somewhere else?

The inflation is soo bad that when food prices shot up in the past it was by small margins.

Think about McSlop, it was from its founding thru to the end of the 20th century as being incredibly cheap.

A burger was under a dollar from the 50s to around 2000-2001 from 39 cents to 89 cents including cheeseburgers going from 50 cents to 99 cents in a near 50 year period.
How many times has the price gone up by a full 100% like 2 or 3 times at this point since 2001?
And in comparison its only been 23 years.
What gives?

Well some people are very picky about their pizzas (for example the place I go to charges straight up $45 for a large...but it's like heroin good) and then some people are just loyal to their brands. I personally don't understand why anyone would pay more than $1 for a McDonald's cheeseburger when you could literally fire up the grill at home and make 100 cheeseburgers for like $20 that taste a million times better....and it takes literally ZERO effort to make a cheeseburger.

Quality thread.
I'm just waiting until some sort of government entity owns some fast food restaurant.

Imagine if the postal service owned Subway after charging them with mail fraud for the mailed coupons scam theyre running for baiting and switching customers as zero franchised stores take any coupons this day and age.
Theyre wasting USPS resources just to get marks into the store to spend $35.90 for two subs without tip.
Why is Subway doing that?
Their coupons promise deals and their cheap ass franchisees can't deliver. Smells like a scam.
I imagine most who walk in expecting them to take coupons and learn most locations dont doesn't divert the customer from leaving.

>why do you have to do the home depot one in two parts?
So when if I get caught I can say that I just grabbed a trashcan and noticed it was heavy, but I thought that it was just supposed to be that way. It's so they can't prove I had intent to steal, whereas in the morning if I get caught they'll have me on camera and that's a felony amount of theft.

>why bother doing the parking spot and mcdonalds scams that get you like 5-10 bucks worth of shit when you make close to $1000 on the home depot one?
Fun. Because I can. There's also other perks like meeting people. I've hooked up with a few cougars this way and met other people that do stuff like this too. It's like the guys that walk around asking for money for a funeral; that's a business. They give you a sign and at the end of the day everything gets split.

I also can't do the Home Depot one constantly. There needs to be cooling off periods once I've run out of Home Depots. But honestly, it's really more for fun and not having to get a job than anything else. I promised myself 10 years ago that I would never ever EVER answer to a fucking boss or play workplace politics ever again. I actually went to business school and was climbing up the corporate ladder until one day I started writing a suicide note and immediately crumbled it up and said out loud "I don't think so motherfuckers." I've been fucking the system ever since. Fuck them all. My only rule is that I don't take from people that are in need. And I know I might sound like a piece of shit to some of you, but I worked for a bank that specifically scoped out for people that couldn't afford to pay back predatory loans....and then destroy their lives. I'm not the bad guy; I may not be crispy clean, but I'm not homewrecker either.

Lockdown saw a lot of people just not be able to work at fastfood slopjobs. Effectively this means that someone took the frog out of the boiling pot and now no one wants to really wants to go through the effort of letting it cool down again so they can lower the frog into the pot once more.
Ultimately this means that they're having to pay bottom of the barrel employees more money until people forget that Mcjobs are shit and don't pay enough to cause you to earn any money.
I mostly deny going to these shit places but I can't always avoid it.
>>19738165
The 20th century was grifting paradise and companies could burn through a lot of cheap resources to provide cheap product with everyone laboring under the assumption that they were going to be well-off pensioners living off of someone else's dime a few decades down the road and anyone actually in the know could rest easy knowing that they would die before ever having to deal with the consequences. People were sold on the idea that they were going to live like kings with cheaper versions of luxury goods that only really worked because the upper class dickheads that were previously buying them were limited in number.
The charade is now broken, the last of the guilt-free conspirators are dying and some morons are getting the idea into their heads that they'll live long enough to see the time when they can live forever, so the jig is up.

Supply chain collapse and inflation combined is such a headache Im ready to wear the mask if we can get back to cheap gas, food, electronics again.
