I've been trying a bunch of different instant noodles lately, and these are probably still my no 1. There's just no spicy broth like it. I feel like it works really well trying ramen "hacks" or adding stuff to it, but it's great on it's own. Maybe it's just because I'm so familiar with it though.

easily my favorite ramen flavor out there. solid taste on it's own but lends a great canvas for mixing in ingredients to make a proper prison sloppa with other cheap ingredients added in such as dehydrated spicy refriend beans that just require a little water, some hot and spicy chicharrones thrown in to soften up and absorb, feel free to add cheese.

can substitutte for a bunch of differnt chip types as well depending on your preference at the time such as flaming hot cheetos, spicy cheez itz, jalapeno kettle chips, etc. can also add squeeze cheese, tuna, summer sausage and potentially remove the refriend beans from certain entrees. slices of cheese were hard to come during my time; it would come once a week in our sack nasty lunches and i'd have to trade people for their cheese slice(s) and save them up for my own creations. because it was too expensive to use as cheese for a ramen sloppa i use the cheese slices ripped into smlal pieces and mixed with kettle cooked jalapeno potatoes, a little bit of water, and some cajun chicken seasoning and a squirt of mustard together into a sandwih bag and throughouly mix together entire it turns entirely itno mush with all the ingredients equally distributed evenly. caju chicken nissin top ramen are the best ramen you will never eat.

I have a pack of this sitting around waiting for me to try.
I tried their shrimp flavor a while ago and it was a little above average. Their original (soy sauce) flavor was a little below average. Nearly identical to the Maruchan oriental flavor I ate all the time as a young teen. Maybe slightly better.
I make home made chicken stock all the time though, so my cravings for chicken flavor are usually satisfied.

I tried Itsuki Akakara (red spicy) today. They're $3 at my asian market.
They had a really prominent chili oil taste, which I'm not a huge fan of, but they're not very spicy.
The noodles are smoother than most instant ramens because they're sold as straight noodles instead of bricks, and they have a nice chewiness, but they didn't blow my mind or anything.
Probably won't get them again any time soon, but I'm keeping my hopes up for the Hakata Osshoi flavor I got from this brand.

If you haven't tried Prima Taste Singapore Laksa LaMian you don't know shit about instant noodles. These are unironically the best instant noodles available. These noodles are steamed, come with a sachet of powdered coconut milk, curry paste and take 8 minutes to cook. They are thick, tasty, noodles in a soup broth to DIE for. They are expensive but so so so so so so so so so, SO SO SO worth the price. An easy comfort meal any time of day... I can't believe I'm doing it, I'm shilling a product on /ck/... BUY THESE FUCKING NOODLES THEY ARE GOD TIER.

I'll be honest, korean noodles suck. They're just not savory enough. I just add hot sauce in literally any other noodles and enjoy it more. For the samyang noodles I had I literally had to dump raw MSG into them to make them edible.
