I would never go to a restaurant that tries to be silly. I don't want people with a silly attitude preparing my food. Food is meant to be taken seriously, a craft one dedicates themself to and eliminates all mistakes from their process. It is not meant to be treated as a joke, or as fun. I am going to a restaurant, not a fucking carnival. Have respect for yourself and your job, you are not a clown.

The ability to get lost suggests you're thinking of these restaurants in terms of narrative. Burger hut 2 is likely named based on the fact that it is the second burger hut location opened by the owners of the original burger hut.
Again, going to burger hut 2 is not the same as purchasing a ticket to see a movie which was made as a sequel to a movie which you have not yet seen.
Please do not attempt to save face by claiming that your post was a joke.

this place in my town used to be a 4-star French restaurant, since 1937 when the castle was built. apparently in my lifetime they were awarded for having the top 10 wine lists in the USA with one of the biggest wine cellars at almost 200,000 bottles stored underground. Live jazz every saturday and sunday on the patio.

made me chuckle thinking about how funny it is that, through all human history, people really have had to struggle for food. and even those that had the means for food still never conceived of wasting it for joke purposes. thinking about, like, famines and shit; and even before the industrialized or agrarian eras when we were still hunting shit with spears...

but here we are. at the tip of history making jokes with our dispensaries of calories. putting a top hat on a shrimp or smashing ground beef into the shape of a smiley face just cause it makes our retard brains giggle.

i wouldn't have it any different, but it's also funny that when someone comes along and points out how stupid this is, he's the one that sounds ridiculous. whatever i'm kinda high

HOWARD'S OUTSIDE WEST BROOKFIELD?? fuck yes! I went there ONCE with my parents and it was a magical experience. We would usually go up to Dresser Hill in Charlton though (RIP), but yeah Howard's is the tits. And Ronnie's is still going strong. Ronnie's is just close enough to home where I used to stop in for lunch when I'd go on long bike rides through the backroads, and then have to belly it home slowly with 5lbs of chowda and clam strips in my gullet.

Good times man good times

I too have outgrown the inner suburbs. Whereabouts do you live now anon? I lived away from Syds for aout 3 years but now have returned, for work, and live in a busy leafy townhouse northside, tucked into Lane Cove National Park. I only go into the city a couple times a month and usually just to get dinner with some frens and I can deal with that. Neutoun just doesn't have much to offer me anymore. A few pubs I still like and I like the dumpling place on Enmore a lot, but that's about it. Most of my friends have moved further out to be more comfortable, the ones still in the innawest are alcoholics and manchildren.
