You're right. I used to be grossed out by the idea, but when I worked at a pizza parlor I tried them and was pleasantly surprised. It's a pity most places only put one anchovy on per slice.

which is pretty fine with me, since they only charge $1 for the "topping" and a can at the store costs $3, plus i get extra to eat by themselves

It just adds flavor if cut small and spread evenly but not thickly. The minimum wage loser assembling your pizza lives on gas station food and what he can steal from work and will be like ewww haha someone ordered this shit and put a bunch of whole filets on there while holding his nose and that will result in a gross pizza for sure

A very good neapolitan pizza is very good by itself. The same pizza with some chovies and a beer, is top class. Had just that by the sea not too long ago, very tasty. You will feel like a million bucks. On a nice warm evening.
