I like the low sodium spam more than the regular sodium spam. Not because I'm trying to watch my sodium intake, I just like it better. My favorite breakfast is spam eggs and toast.

Could not disagree less OP. The lowdium SPAM is still salty as fuck anyway, just somehow has less than the other SPAM. It's the only SPAM I buy and it's fucking delishes.

The only exceptions are sometimes I buy the Hot & Spicy or even the Roast Turkey SPAM (fite me) and those are normal sodium but worth it because of how good they is

It's a bit inconsistent desu, sometimes the bacon really comes through other times it's just barely there in the background. I still get it on occasion because it keeps so long and worst case scenario it just tastes like spam cooked in bacon fat.
As for hot spam varieties I'm a big fan of Tocino Spam. If you have any good Asian stores you can probably get some there. It's the perfect mix of salty and sweet imo. But I am a filip so I have a bit of bias there. Seriously though, a few slices of browned Tocino Spam, white rice cooked with minced garlic, and a fried egg is an amazing breakfast. Topped only by having actual tocino or longanisa. Haven't really tried the other flavors cause I hear most of them are just meh or bad compared to standard spam or 25% less sodium.

This is true, as a lifelong spam enjoyer.
Doesn't keep as long but unless you're stockpiling that really isn't an issue.
The real revelation is that the flavored spam has about the same amount of salt or even less than the regular low sodium kind, against all logic.
Now, the tragic part is those rat bastards at hormel discontinued at least half of the flavors.
I'll miss you dearly, garlic and black pepper.
But mostly garlic that stuff was food of the gods.
They did keep that turkey spam that to this day, no one asked for.

I'm not a fan of Kikkoman regular but yeah they have a pretty delishes light soy. In fact you may never go back to regular soy. Also getting Lee Kum Kee or similar "Premium Soy Sauce" in the slightly fancier glass bottle is essentially light soy (Chinese and Jappernese use different naming conventions for what they consider regular soy). Dark soy is an option if you're really salt-averse but I don't recommend that product for anything except colour.

It mellows out when you fry it, but it's not very good cold.

It's just personal preference, but it has almost completely replaced normal Spam for me.
Despite having that distinctive Spam flavor, the normal variety tastes, I dunno, plain to me now I guess. Sort of like those little Vienna sausages in a can.
