The Der Dutchman near Millersburg is the only uniquely Ohioan foods I can think of on your route. Do wait for others to chime in. Your first leg though Ohio won't be so bad, but I-80 is why everyone thinks we're just a fly-over.

malley's chocolate for superman ice cream if you've never tried it.
cosmic daves subs for a bottle of dave's cosmic sauce. the subs are fine too, but the sauce is really good and i crave it all the time now that i've moved out of ohio.
the foundry in lakewood has the best burgers i've ever eaten in my life, particularly i had a chorizo/beef burger there that was incredible. the wings are good too, lots of flavors to choose from.
close to the foundry is mahalls, which has surprisingly good fried chicken for not being in the south.
and if you want really cheap, boring, plain diner kind of food hit up canary's family restaurant. it's not "good" food, but it's fine and it's dirt cheap.

If you can spare the hour out your way then I recommend the Mocha House near Youngstown, either the one in warren or in boardman. Some of the best cheesecake I've ever had and a completely different experience from almost any where else. If you can't then the Hofbräuhaus in Cleveland is fairly comparable to >>18932217 in quality german food but with less sausage.
