Maybe some niche bullshit like rat meat might be worse. But I can't think of a single preparation for turkey that wouldn't taste better with any other meat. What a fucking useless animal.

I break down a turkey every Thanksgiving and roast only the breast and smoke the wings. The wings go into my collards, the back and wingtips go into making two of the three gravies i serve with the meal while the thighs and and drums get frozen for future eats. 2021's drums wound up in a palak curry and the thighs were either roasted or sauteed it made into soup or something. I don't remember.
Regardless of how i or my babymomma prepare it, tho, it's delicious and we tend to strongly dislike other people's turkey.

What methods of prep have you tried and disliked? People tend to overcook a roast turkey, especially the breast meat, but seems like most people like turkey soups, tamales, tacos and shit like that. Turkey sausage and turkey burgers can suck the left half of my whole ass, tho.

You can't post with a straight cock that a perfectly roasted turkey is better than a perfectly roasted chicken or duck. I've had plenty of turkey that was made the best way it could. It still would have always been better as something else.

>a perfectly roasted turkey is better than a perfectly roasted chicken
I'd never say that. Turkey can be delicious, but it pales in insignificance compared to chicken.

>or duck
I can't roast duck to save my life. Comes out floppy and sad, like a set of geriatric titties. I can pan cook some duck breast like nobody's business, tho.

>It still would have always been better as something else.
Actually... I kinda like it better than chicken for that palak curry i mentioned, thought let's be honest that neither is traditional. And there's something about turkey gravy that i prefer to chicken gravy, though both are still quite good

>shittier meat than Turkey

the country is nice in some places aswell

But turkey tastes good
Maybe it's because it's not as common here, or maybe our turkeys are actually different

I've heard Turkey would be even nicer without all those pesky, smelly Turks.

ground turkey is absolutely delicious, much better than ground chicken. In general, I prefer the taste of turkey to chicken. The problem is people don't prepare turkey right most of the time.

Turkey makes killer soups and stews.

Compared to beef or chicken? Fucking stop.

It's literally not.
Turkey is bland and shitty and the legs contain Viet-Cong punji traps for some fucking reason.

It is possibly the worst foodbird on the regular market.

Yes. I had an extra turkey after Thanksgiving. Half went into creamy turkey vegetable. Half went into turkey mushroom farro. They were both excellent. I tend to use chicken/beef/lamb/seafood/game more, but turkey can make a mean soup.

You know, it'd help you if you learned to cook before you started spamming on a cooking board, Vladimir.
