Eat less of it. And put vegetables instead.

Stop obsessing with "health" like a middle-aged women you utter faggot. People 100 years ago ate a diet that was almost pure butter and carbs and yet they weren't fat sacks of shit turning into a blob sitting in front of a computer screen. Go outside and actually do physical labor and you can eat whatever the fuck you want without worrying about heart disease or obesity.

I found a spinach sauce for pasta. I’m thinking more of how to make pasta like this. Not just throwing in vegetables. Ideas?

I’ve done the whole keto thing. I think it’s ultimately bullshit. Better to fast and eat light and move around than worry about shit like carbs. Sugar I think is shit though…

sugar is the healthiest and purest form of carbs though. it's inconsistent to say sugar is bad yet carbs are fine.

>> No.18555156

>>18555012
No it isn’t. Sugar is too dense a carb. Unless you are a marathon runner or soccer player you don’t need refined sugar. Complex carbs which are slow release are completely different. And a lot less dense.

but mostly, theyre adulterated with non-carb shit making them inferior carbs. sugar is the purest carb source you can find.

Bu my point is they are TOO pure. It’s the difference between the average Marjorie Cameron Mutt chugging down coke all day and Japanese eating small amounts of rice. It’s too calorie dense so is converted to fat unless you are very active.

With red sauce you can make with eggplant sliced and diced. Or make without sauce and put, well the normal oil onion and stuff, after browned add leek, freshtomato sliced and pieces of ham or bacon. Or do oil, onion, garlic, broccoli and anchovies. Red sauce with zucchini. White sauce, chicken sliced and dice, zucchini or if too unhealthy without the white sauce/cream, but you can add saphron too to give it a kick.

I love it when people stupidly think /adding/ something will make their meal """"helffy,"""" as though getting a double bacon triple cheeseburger with a little baba ghanouz on it suddenly neutralises the saturated fat, sodium, preservatives and cholesterol.

No.

It's removing or reinventing things that make it healthier, not adding shit.
As for pasta, pasta inandofitself is not "unhealthy." Typically, the supposed health issues with pasta come from three things:
1) ridiculously large portion size
2) using ridiculous amounts of cheese, salt, saturated fats and oils and
3) regular consumption of jarred sauces with high amounts of preservatives and added sugars

Example: yesterday for lunch, I had a simple bowl of pasta with garlic, a tablespoon of olive oil, some flaked chilli and some broccoli. Topped with a little cheese and it was a good, generally low-cal meal (about 450-500 calories) with no preservatives, little salt, a reasonable amount of fat and cheese and a reasonable portion size. Not remotely unhealthy unless you're a ketoschizo.

Italians and East Asians live longer than you.

>>18555882
>wholemeal pasta is helffy but regular pasta is unhelffy
Vast majority of Italy and East Asia don't eat wholemeal anything and still live longer than you. Russians, Swedes and Norwegians eat lots of wholemeal and don't live as long as Italians.

This is really the super power of pasta dishes, they can become as healthy as anything bc you can smuggle a pound of veg, a pound of lean meat into a pound of pasta and it tastes just as good or better

Like literally just make regular marinara sauce but put a pound of carrots, peppers, celery, olives, chicken breast etc in it and you’ll realize

>had a simple bowl of pasta with garlic, a tablespoon of olive oil, some flaked chilli and some broccoli. Topped with a little cheese
Enjoy your decaying muscles through insufficient protein. Italians and japs do eat more carbs proportionally to the fat laden American diet but their portion sizes of simple carbs are ridiculously small and they eat a ton of complex carbs from veg to legumes, they also eat much more protein than your ridiculous meal. Skip the broccoli and that would be a primo course in Italy and would be followed by a secundo course which would be meat/fish with some veg.

Well, you didn't get back to me in time so I tried going with the Scottish peas but they'd all overdosed on heroin and fried Mars bars. Moved on to the Cornish ones, but they were too busy arguing with Devonshire peas over the proper composition of a pasty to be of any use. Welsh peas were busy shagging sheep peas so I didn't want to disturb them while the Manx peas were hiding somewhere along with all the foreigners' money and I couldn't find them. That leaves the Guernsey peas, I guess. Let's see how it goes.
