Mongolia is a steppe because of volcanic formations from ~10 million years ago. Significant traces of volcanic activity are still found throughout the whole fuckin country, and these igneous rocks can retain and exhaust unbelievable amounts of heat. throw two of these rocks in a fire for 20 minutes and it'll give off heat like a 500 degree oven for at least an hour. In Mongolia, they'll heat a hundred of these rocks over one communal fire, and then distribute them to the various families who travel together.

It's great.
Cheeks are tender but the tongue is more firm.
Lots of different textures but it all tastes great despite looking sort of "out there"

I've done this umpeen times and the worst that ever happened was they split in half from the heat, and you don't even know it you just see them broken in the ashes in the morning. doesn't happen anon. or at least not at any rate worth worry about

Not that guy, but there are a great many different kind of rocks. Why the hell you would keep playing a risky game where you find one that could have water appropriately placed inside so it blows up is beyond me. Go win a darwin award by throwing wet rocks from the water into fire. Or speed up the process by proving your gun is unloaded by looking down the barrel and pulling the trigger. I mean, you're sure right?
