Happy Halloween you pri/ck/s

What food traditions/things you like to do during this time of the year?
For me, I’d normally be just drinking cider but tonight I’m home bound and depressed and unable to go clubbing.

Honestly, I don't live in the most exciting part of Florida. It's mostly Indian restaurants, but there are places to go for some unique food. Went to this joint designed like a carnival where they sold these giant deep fried turkey legs. Then there's an Indo-Chinese restaurant that sells Indian and Chinese food. Plus they sell these Indian pizzas, but they're awful. It's too doughy and the sauce is way too thin.

>deep fried
i want to try one of those deep fried oreos you made. What kind of pil do you use? You just plop em in for a minute?

>How about Canada? Are there any interesting food spots around you?
I mostly eat asian food when I go out desu. It fits with my tastes and my Crohn's inflicted stomach. Mom and family would could great german stuff growing up - rouladen, german potato dumplings, cucumber salad, cabbage rolls. If we went out to eat as a family it would be McDonald's or something haha my mom isn't big into fine dining so I didn't pick up the habit either really. Although I haven't touch mcdonalds in 4 years.

I just use store brand vegetable oil. The batter's flour, milk, and an egg. And yeah it takes a minute for both sides of the oreo to be a golden brown.
I know you got a good meal plan, but what's your go to dessert when you do have some?
>Fish curry? Link?
I don't make it, I just frequent this one indian restaurant. It's inside a gas station, but the food is delicious.

>go to dessert
That Silk milk keeps me pretty satiated. And apple or two usually for something sweet. I specifically don't by candy or cookies cus I will just finish it in a day like a baguette, so instead I allow myself more food while having my meals. But once in a while I'll go get some vegan ice cream at a shop in town it's hella good. Pic rel is strawberry and mint chocolate

Seems like food gets you out of the house a lot. The candy hunting, restaurants, etc. What else do you do? Seems like florida would be a great place to live cus it's always warm? Also, do reptiles freak you out? Are they a common hazard?

I like bike riding. I live near a forest trail, so that's great for night walks as well.
>Seems like florida would be a great place to live cus it's always warm?
It's a double edged sword. The weather's almost always nice, but there are days where if you go outside for a walk, you come back covered in sweat. I moved down here a year ago from Massachusetts and honestly miss snow. Fresh snowfall was nice to look at. Y'know, until you had to shovel it to get outside.
Reptiles are cool, and they're not really a problem. Unless you go after then, they just wander around in the wild. What about you, what hobbies do you have?

Today was treated like thanksgiving for my family for complicated reasons so i made a beef tenderloin with garlic butter and a cranberry-red wine sauce. It turned out fucking good which is good because the meat cost almost a hundred bucks. Really that's the most "dangerous" meal I ever cooked. I feel like i leveled up bros.

No it wasnt a bad complicated situation. But it helped with the getting along. I made a simple salad and sweet potato casserole too and my sister made some other sides. It ruled basically.

warm..NO, its November and still mid 90s f

not as bad as mosquitos and spiders but there are coral sneaks, water moccasins, snapping turtles and gators all over the place

Damn, you seem brave for going into the florida woods knowing all those gross reptiles are brooding. Gives me shivers.

>what hobbies do you have?
4chan, 5k walks every other day, gym, guitar, programming, reading history, etc. Always have some solitary activities to do.

What you eating today?

>>18542262
That's terrifying. Let's not talk about reptiles anymore. Are the people friendly? Are you happy to be American? Honestly seems pretty comfy. You have a lot of opportunities to live anywhere, pursue any career, can trust your comrades (Americans in the south don't seem very unlike bug men).

In FL the people aren't back stabbers, you'll know if they don't like you. Other then that people mostly keep to them selves aside from occasional small talk when you're trapped in a slow line at the grocery store.

i had some cinnamon coffee and I'm making pizza for dinner, thinking about grabbing some homemade chicken broth out of the freezer for a light snake to tie me over til then

Fuck bro, I lost my appetite. Went to buy pic rel finally after waiting all week to enjoy it and I saw some old ugly fat woman abusing some 6yo boy in the parking lot. Was too much of a coward to BTFO her and called the cops instead. Well, they left, I left, and I got a call back from police 10mins later. Fuck. Don't let devil incarnates get away with their evil shit. I have profound regrets now.

Not with marshmallows but yea it was "dessert style" aka pecans and a shitload of butter and sugar. Not what i would make for myself but what can i say its popular. And yea it was more of a christmas main dish but fuck turkey dude and no one wanted duck either. For christmas ham is the usual but this year idk.
