The 6th grade in the early 00s. We went to the McD's after a field trip to the museum of natural industry. This McD's at the time had a massive salt water aquarium in the middle of the restaurant. I had large fries, a Dr. Pepper, 1 cheese burger and 1 McChicken and a seat at the aquarium.

The fries are very good if they're fresh. Old Filipino guy at work taught me that the trick is to order them without salt since you have diabetes or something. They do accommodate this and will make a fresh batch. When you get to the window, ask for some salt packets. I do this every time and they don't mind and it's perfectly reasonable to assume that I can't eat salt but I'm sharing them with someone who can.
Also does anyone have a screen shot of when google used to say Asuka when searching "who is best girl in evangelion?"

They're always fresh at the places I go. They make the fries at a pace matching the rate of customer intake, so they never sit longer than a minute. If the restaurant is empty you'll have to wait for a batch, and that doesn't take longer than it takes to make a burger so there's no reason to have fries ready in advance anyway.

Yeah, he got that once and complained to the manager over the phone threatening that it could be a huge health issue and took photos of the little salt that remained. They never did it again. Fast food places don't care about 99% of things, but clear cut food safety violations they are quick with.

Why have all the major chains utterly destroyed their interior and exterior style? What's the point? Why spend all this money on making your building ugly?

Way back in 2009 I was about to suicide myself. So I decided to get a last meal. Double quarter pounder, 10 nuggets(bbq sauce), small fries. Had my food, put the song "Call from the Grave" by Bathory on my mp3 player and got on the bus to the train tracks. Stepped on the tracks, heard the train coming and decided not to do it. As a secondary point: When the infrastructure is no longer distinct, and every restaurant looks the same, you're forced to look for the logo to identify which restaurant it is, which increases brand recognition and more directly puts the marketing into your brain.
