What's the best substitute for seed oils (canola, vegetable, etc.)?

>> No.18313099

Usually animal fat. But you can also use olive oil, typically more expensive.

It's no about so much the flavor as the health aspects. I don't like the flavor either. But I can't bring myself to use the highly processed seed oils.

Buy ghee and olive oil instead, latter is for when you need to add flavour too. Decent olive oil is generally a bit too expensive to use in everything and can get a somewhat bitter taste if cooked at temperatures that are too high.

Only if you're American.

Butter for normal frying and on bread, and cold pressed coconut fat for high temperature things.
The biggest problem with seed oils is that they're part of almost everything. The oil you use for cooking is just 1% of the seed oils you consume.

It's a proven fact that the omega-6 to 3 ratio is fucking terrible for you, in addition to the inflammations that seed oils cause. It's also the leading cause of obesity and cardiovascular disease after the subversive fuckers memed the world into thinking that dietary cholesterol of butter and animal fat was bad for you.

well, not to play semantics, but the fake ones are no longer olive oil. that in turn makes the percentage of fake olive oils drop to 0%, making you out to be completely full of shit, faggot.

use beef tallow for frying if you can afford it, it can be strained and will take on the flavor of whatever you cooked in it a little, fries after you'd made pork chops or chicken in it are great
