Steelies taste just fine, unless you let them get warm. I can drink a Yuengling warm no problem. I can even drink a Corona warm with no issue. A warm Steely is like drinking your own piss, and that sure as shit isn't Bear Grylls looking back at you in that mirror.

Frequent Steep Reserve drinker here. The marginal utility is good. I like lagers and the price point is too good to beat.
I've had really, really shitty local beers, so I know what bad beer tastes like. Steel Reserve compared to Axe Head or Hurricane or 4loko is leagues better.
IPAs suck, stouts get to be too much halfway through, your standard american buds and coors are filled with rice swill by (((anheuser busch))).
Steel Reserve is simply better in most all cases
