Was a rubber tramp in the mid eighties. Broke down in Chicago next to a street vender selling the same dogs. Gave me free hot dogs and payed a tow company to help me. Maybe they changed how they make them because they were awesome.

Last year I got my hands on a meal from a local homeless charity. I'm guessing they used zero cooking fat or salt for the making of the bolognese. No amount of parmasean seemed to make any impact on that black hole of blandness

A lot of these places cook massive amounts of food. It’s not uncommon to be minimally seasoned due to difficulty of large batches and the fact that a homeless person will raise hell and claim salty food affects their heart condition and they’re going to sue the organization for racism and unhealthy practices.

Homeless and poor people complain about anything and everything. Especially if it’s free. They love to be offended.

I had to do community service for a scholarship. We boil the thanksgiving turkeys and just hack it into bits. I started spitting in the food when they would threaten me over shit like not having hot sauce.
