Pic attached is similar to my grandparents' recipe that is buried in my kitchen someplace.

Make sure both are ripe.
I take both fruits and place them in my herb grinder on medium grind for a few seconds to dice everything up as I'm not a fan of larger fruit pieces.
I don't use maple syrup like the screenshot shows but a tablespoon of brown sugar. Also, fuck the vanilla extract as I use real vanilla bean pods.

You should add some rum or vodka too then sincemthe alcohol from the extract helps make the ice cream creamy. Also look into using a 3:1 ratio of sugar and glucose syrup
