I seldom take pictures of food but when I do it’s usually just to show my parents. I was in London getting a hair cut and I stopped by a Wagamama and got a ramen. Their ramen is pretty inauthentic and cheap but goddamn did I enjoy it. I hadn’t eaten ramen in years and I was so hungry that I wolfed that shit down—gulping down the bowl. I went alone so I wish the waiters didn’t sit me right at the front but I didn’t mind because it just meant everyone could see how into that ramen I was

You're not wrong but the vein (intestine?) is tasteless and safe to eat. Consider that it's never removed from fried shrimp stuff. I usually remove it when it's really obvious.

The sauce is mayo, ponzu and sriacha. I should have used more butter when I cooked it for more butter garlic taste.

It was incredibly bland. I had a pretty big chunk of it so there was opportunity to try a few different things but it's just a boring food no matter what you do to it.
A block of unseasoned mashed potatoes would be considerably more flavourful and versatile.

I suppose it has decent nutritional value, but since I'm not some starving Cambodian I don't really have to worry about that. I can afford to get my protein from a porkchop instead.

A thread I can post in! I spent a little over 12 hours making this bowl. I made the noodles, the chicken broth, the tare (came out thick because I forgot to buy cheese cloth), aroma oil, and toppings. The eggs perfectly soft boiled and brined.
It tasted great! I tried it without and with msg. Msg definitely adds a little something. I was drunk last night so I tried it again this morning. It was still good, but the fishy taste was a little high.

13$ can both be a good price, or a high price.
Depends on if they make their own noodles.to adjust for each soup. The noodles should be a bit chewy and snappy when you eat them. Tonkotsu or is it tankatsu ;) soup. Bone broth can be laberous and take many hours.
Although, if that was the presentation... It's kind of meh.
