Coincidentally a very average time for a normal dough to take, and nowhere near long enough for this particular type of dough. There's no way around it- the dough that got the slurry, the dough in the mixer, and the finished bread are not all the same. Maybe she gave up and threw out her first try and finished the video herself with a regular bread recipe, then filmed some bread she got elsewhere. There is movie-magic happening somewhere though.

I made this recipe, this entire process takes like 6 hours including proofing. What she did wrong was she over proofed her bread which is why it was full of holes.

This recipe, the bread it makes, it’s fucking challah. You can get a loaf for like $5 it tastes the same. If you want to go through the experience of having said you made this go for it but it’s 100% not worth it at all. Oh and she should have given it an egg wash, makes it much better.
