Papa Penises? A hivemind of papas each named John? What did they mean by this?

I say yes. Sweet red sauce, so that is a turn off for some. The dough is airy, again, a turn off for some. Both positive for me tho. It's still fast food pizza, so don't expect a meeting with Jesus or nuthing. Papa John's > Donatoes = Marcos > Dominoes > Pizza Hut.

>> No.18030545

get the ny style crust at papa johns, and garlic knots, its higher quality than domino's, pizza hut is slightly better quality than both but the taste is different.

I don't get the hate for pizza hut. Their pan pizzas have the best dough in the business, they're not skimpy with toppings and have better quality stuff, and the sauce is decent. And it's about the same price, cheaper sometimes depending on their promos that month.

Just ask them not to Pam the crust. I do understand how some people will find them too greasy. I, however, was born it it, molded by it. So I like it. Also means reheating it doesn't dry the shit out of it, toaster oven and it's good as new even out of the freezer.

This ad brought to you by Pizza Hut.

The grease comment is absolutely true, so maybe that's the turn off for me.

This anon is right tho. Pizza Hut Dry Rub Cajun wings are amazing.

I'm also a leaf. Sometimes chains are drastically different across the border.

Case in point, no such thing as Cajun on our wings. A company that's willing to suppress Cajun seasoning is truly capable of evil. Maybe the pizza isnt as good in the states depending on the ingredients they have cheaper access to, who knows.

I just know that PizzaPizza<<<literally anything. It's dominoes without the quality. Let that simmer in your noggin.

better than old dominos, roughly equal with current dominos. worse than old pizza hut, better than current pizza hut.
but it varies TREMENDOUSLY based on each location. also, these days, a lot of times they undercook 'em unless you specify 'well done.' Basically what sets P. Johns apart is the very chewy, crispy crust. it's thick, puffy, and heavy on gluten. Similar to Domino's "pan" pizza that isn't... cooked in a pan. I don't think.
the sauce is almost identical to pizza hut's. toppings options are good, again it varies by location. I recommend the steak, the canadian bacon, or the spicy italian sausage...
I feel bad giving them money after they did my man Papa John dirty, but.. it's good pizza at a low price. And peaceful protestors burned down my local domino's so I don't have a ton of options.

oh yeah and they give you a garlic butter cup to dip your crusts in! I super appreciate that, especially back when they didn't have stuffed crust. Of course now they do, so.. come to think of it, I need to test that out. see if it's as good as the hut's.
they also give you a pepperoncini. on one hand, a warm pepperoncini is not very refreshing, but on the other hand when you bust it open and squirt its juices all over your pie, especially the crusts, it's a definite improvement.

Get the cheeseburger 'za, it's their best and pretty much the only thing worth getting. They even put pickles on it.

Papa johns, under the leadership of John was the best fast food pizza you could buy, actual decent ingredients.

it's completely changed now, as for dominos I can just eat garlic and pizza sauce if i want a taste of that.

One of the only places left that has anchovies as an option on their menu.
Also their garlic dipping cups are really good.
Pizza quality in general is pretty good. Not as good as Pizza Hut in the 90s was but I'd place Papa Johns above both modern Pizza Hut and modern Dominos.
