Asian food is great for vegan food, mostly because a lot of their vegetarian stuff is vegan by default due to lack of milk and cheese.

I like soy milk and sometimes make my own, but I can't get into alternative plant milks. Rice and oat milk just taste plainly like leftover cooking water. I like the nutty taste of cashew/almond milk, but they're pricey and I just think not worth it, they tend to have a funny texture from thickeners as well. Coconut milk is good but too strong flavoured to use in a lot of things.

Coconut rice milk pudding (glutinous rice if you can find it) is a great dessert.
