I love corn on the cob but I've always found the sweet just picked flavor and texture so many people insist is the only way to have it far less appealing than the darker more savory flavor and chewier texture it gets a few days later. It's especially nice when its like that and you roast it till the sugars begin to carmelize, the flavors become very complex. The sweet/watery/tender stuff does nothing for me.
