We used to eat horse a lot back in the 80s and early 90s. It was cheaper than beef and worked very well as a substitute for it.

I don't like the taste of grasshopper nor cricket. Furthermore, the two, grasshoppers and prawns, are hardly similar in any respect other than being arthropods. Grasshoppers have little to no meat to them and taste... well, idk how to quite explain it, but it is very much unlike prawn. Hugely unpleasant, IMO. Crickets, on the other hand, have practically no flavour at all.
