They must've picked it for some reason, because all marketing has a reason no matter how poorly thought out it may be, but I just can't off the top of my head figure out why a deer. The polar bears one I can at least hazard at guess for, because it was a Christmas advert and polar bears are white so there's a vague Christmas connection.
