Everyone at my office is into it because they are under the false notion that its healthy.

Its literally a bowl of carbs and cheap shit vegetables with thin low quality raw fish on top. Theres NO seasoning or flavor becaise nothing is cooked except the plain white rice. The sauces are all pure sugar to make up for this.

No. They're like if some white, 15 year old dishwasher at a Korean owned American strip mall sushi restaurant was given free reign to use whatever fish scraps and cheap ingredients he wanted to make himself lunch was turned into a restaurant concept except it was actually more expensive than just getting sushi. Those are opihis, hawaiian gold. They are limpets, that only can be wild caught, harvested off rocks in rough waters by hand. A lot of people over the years have died harvesting these. They can sell for 500 bucks for a gallon ziplock of em. Yellowbelly ones are the best.
