This is a stupid fucking dish. It made sense as a good healthy option right up until he added 600 calories of unseasoned, flavorless rice noodles, 200 calories of extra oil, and 140 calories of eggs.

Gordon Ramsey has a lot of culinary knowledge and experience and I damn well know he can make great complex dishesbut its crazy how often he absolutely fucks up simple dishes like burgers or this bullshit.

you dont have to eat all of it in one sitting retard, you can eat half of it for lunch and half of it for dinner. Or maybe you can even SHARE it with somebody. And some people actually work jobs involving physical labour and can easily burn 4.000 or 5.000 calories a day

To actually reply, I'd say his biggest claim to home cooking fame is the way he makes scrambled eggs (custard-like, bordering on undercooked), but I personally hate his style and prefer a nice crispy scramble.

Of the 150 recipes in my personal "cookbook" the only one from him is his rice, which is just rice, but with cardamom and star anise added, which I like as a side to my chicken curry and chicken tikka masala. That's it. I've probably watched every one of his recipes.
75% of recipes are from the one and only john from food wishes dot com, and the rest by jean pierre, who's also really good.

the restraunts in uk genuinely piss him off because hes trying to help the industry in the midst of an economic downturn, but professional cooks and owners act like such stubborn faggots that he cant help but be mad at what they are doing. in US hes just a fucking dick for ratings i think. I remember hearing his explanation for his most famous moments on hells kitchen how he would get so genuinely pissed off that professional executive chefs would send him raw food over and over again to serve to his own customers and he wanted to just walk off the show. Hes nicer on things like master chef because they are just inexperienced home chefs trying to impress him instead of arrogant jackasses making a mockery of his industry or customers.
