What's so bad about corn syrup? It's a staple of the American economy https://youtu.be/lQ-ByUx552s

I've never seen a thin person complaining about HFCS.

Karen BTFO...that was the nicest "excuse me?" ever uttered by an AA woman in that situation.

Love the comments re: it being OK in moderation

"B-b-but it's in literally everything!!!"

Because eating "literally everything" is "moderation" , but for le devil syrup.

Just as bad as cane sugar or beet sugar if not slightly worse. No problem if you consume in small quantities but average burger sugar intake is 100+ pounds per capita per year

Corn syrup may be bad for you, but that shit is delicious on some buttered pancakes with crispy edges.

Corn syrup and organic corn syrup might not be so bad, but the high fructose kind is one of mankind's most highly processed sugars. Note that sugar substitutes [such as stevia, sucralose, xylitol, etc.] are a slightly different story.

HFCS is the sugar of poor n*****s.

Nigger, have you ever left the US? Other countries are not overwhelmed with obesity the way we are. Every single other country I've visited in my life people are noticeable healthier.
Something makes specifically our entire country fat as fuck, and the biggest culprit is the enormous amount of corn subsidies that make it significantly cheaper to sell nutritionless food processed out the ass with corn syrup than to sell real food. It is actively killing us and I have no idea why the hell anybody would defend that putrid shit.
