Unless you're working with hard rice like bomba or arborio, you don't stir it as it cooks or even right before serving. Otherwise you end up with a shitty mush.
Once it goes on the stove, you don't touch it until you're serving it. Cook it covered and then let it sit for a few minutes uncovered to evaporate the extra water. You don't have to mush the rice by making a stupid hole in the center like in the webm or anything like that. Just use the right amount of water and leave it alone until you're serving it.
