Cooking isn't uneven because the cooking process isn't linear. Broken spaghetti don't roll well enough around the fork and whatever the fuck you're eating soaghetti with have a harder time sticking to shorter ones.
If, among other disabilities of yours, you're also phisically impaired so that you can't twist a fork you might as well consider different kinds of pasta.
Cook things the way you want, nobody really fucking cares, but don't pretend to know your shit when you clearly don't.

I can't deny truth, you are right. But my previous example is still relevant, the US is like a viral video about monkeys in a cage throwing poop at each other. The rest of the world is, willing or not, a spectator. All we can do is watch and laugh/cry along with the few american friends that realize how fucked your country is.
Again, not the entirety of the US is bad, but i'm pretty sure people visiting the US won't come there for the art, history, or food. I came there to be able to say that I visited the us and to touch a different reality. I enjoyed some architecture and I liked being immersed in a different urban texture.

My dad uses a fork and a knife to dice his spaghetti before he eats it.

My nine year old nephew really loves certain foods, so when he and my sister's family came to visit over Christmas, my mom was determined to cook them all for him. The first day, the poor child was subjected to pork chops fried five minutes past well done, covered in gravy, then stuck in the oven for four hours. The second day, he got Kraft Dinner + wieners but my mom can't cook Kraft Dinner so it was barely edible and had no taste. On the third day, not only did she crack the spaghetti in half, she went out of her way to cut his up really small "because he's a child and could choke on it". When he got his spaghetti and couldn't twirl it around his fork, he broke down crying and asked my mom to stop cooking food if she doesn't know how to cook.

Sorry for the blog post but it's all I can think of when people mention using a knife to eat spaghetti.
