Mincing the garlic cuts up the flavor into shorter pieces of flavor so it's not so overwhelming

Asian greens, spinach and bok choy are all starting to sprout. Going to be growing a fuckload of spicy peppers this year also. All the usual shit as well, but not yet.

I let some of the bok choy and broccoli go to seed last year and all these delicious hybrids popped up with the rain. This one tastes like a mix between mustard green, bok choy, and broccoli. Pretty fun and tasty.

How do I grow garlic in my own garden? The most I've ever grown is corn, carrots, potatoes, onions, and tomatoes. Someone once mentioned something about "wintering" garlic to me? I know there is a Saskatchewan gardener who browses /ck/. I'm in hardiness zone 3a. Spoon feed me.

Plant in october. Hardbeck for freezing climates, softneck for not so freezing climates. Plant 3 or 4 inches deep and add a good 2-3 inches of mulch on top.

Harvest in june or july when leaves start to turn yellow.
