I just got Wendy's for the first time in about a decade. I forgot what it tasted like. I got a "double stack" and fries. The fries were fine, nothing special, the burger definitely tasted fresher and beefier than those from McD and BK....but it was still really small, smaller than I remember, and it was like 2 something. Are all fast food burgers getting smaller or am I going crazy?

idk about that, but Wendy's Baconator's are fucking good.

Wendy's used to be better back when everything was in the yellow packaging. Back then there was a salad bar and there were waiters that came to your table to bring you your food.

Wendy's are coming to the UK, only a few sites open so far but plans for 400+ and the Baconator is definitely on my radar

They definitely use a lot of deceptive marketing to hide this fact. My mom had the same reaction as you anytime she goes to wendys. She says what the fuck this thing is tiny as hell. Also I don't like their burgers in general because they seem too soggy and the patty is never hot in my opinion.

You grow up and things start seeming smaller than when you were a tiny little kid, no real surprise there.

Yes. They are shrinking the burgers due to inflation of food, but they steadily increase the price of the burgers as well. The only burger that hasn't shrunk is the Whataburger.

whataburger charges out the ass and has dry burgers

The double stack uses smaller patties similar to how McDonald’s has small patties and then quarter pounder patties. Get a Dave’s Single/Double/Triple or a Baconator for the big patties there is a noticeable size difference. Something you could find out with a quick google search
