I have been to every single state in the union, and I can proudly say, that all of the best food in America is in Florida. God, I love my state. The rest of you are all flyovers, in my opinion.

The Cuban food alone blows the btfo out of literally anything in the rest of the country. Best fried chicken, best seafood, best barbeque, best Chinese takeout, best pizza, best Cajun food, best fast food (Checker's). Hell, if you make a peanut butter sandwich in your state, and one in Florida, the Florida one will be better.

Yes.
>Be stupid fucking snowbird
>Come down on vacation during a time of year where home state is frozen wasteland, and Florida is a lovely 60 out
>Buy a house for a hundred grand over asking price
>Floridians rapidly getting priced out of our homes, even rural hellholes like Brooksville get gentrified
>Meanwhile, it gets hotter and hotter and the stupid fucking snowbird complains about the humidity constantly
Go to Disney, go to the beach, and then go the fuck home.

It imitates too much gulf/south garbage. Florida has so much culinary potential; you can grow nearly anything south of Okeechobee. Instead, Florida is covered in the same fried garbage but with access to fresher seafood. Carribean/Latam places hold it up to a standard.

Wrong. Ohio's corn and lazy food habits/casserole making make it America's true cultural heartland. Florida is just a mix of Alabama in the North and Cuba/Haiti in the South.

Seattle doesn't even have food. Shooting-up heroin and smoking meth that you bought after stealing all the copper from the streetlights along SR-99 does not count as food.

Try to stay on topic, transplant. You're comparing crime in 206 to AZ and FL? That's like matching the mount of grass you've touched to the number of dicks you can fit in your unwiped asshole. The latter is far >

I've been to FL plenty and my second biggest culinary takeaway was that it's basic. Not necessarily bad and I didn't try and find the best restaurants in tampa/miami but the bar seemed low. The first is that alligator is pretty damn good but I cooked that myself. Also picrel is pretty damn good

Living in Seattle was what made me realize I wasn't a foodie. It was a very foodie style town, but everytime I'd go to places I'd pay a lot of money for picturesque settings and bland food.

There's some good stuff in the international district, and good Thai, but on average it was not an impressive food city.

Honestly Florida's "Great Food - Shitty Town" ratio is pretty fucked up. Orlando is one of the worst cities I've ever lived in, but there was this Mexican buffet place that was out of this world. I've never seen a Mexican buffet before or since. I know a guy out of Tallahassee who makes handmade candy and it's literally the only good thing about Tallahassee. There was this really great seafood place in Ybor and nothing good or moral has ever happened in Ybor City.
