They remind me of childhood when mom would buy really shitty steaks and cook the fuck out of them, and we’d drown it in A1 sauce and eat white bread with butter and canned peas on the side. This is 100% true. Spent 20 years in kitchens good enough that we never had questionable meat, but yes, the oldest and lowest quality cut of the bunch would always go to WD orders. They shrink and get so dark theres really no reason not to. If you like beef cooked like that you ought just order something braised, not a steak. Just my opinion.
