I think thin crust, extra crispy with one or two toppings is good. It's more what I don't like that helps define what I like.
What I don't like is that thick crust goomba shit where it's some assholes pushing some city shit, and shit that comes across as a cake and not a proper slice.
I shouldn't need knife and a fork to eat a slice of pizza.

I tend to think that it's fair that when someone does a survey question such as

I enjoy pizza hut Meat Lovers with stuffed crust.
Also dominos Hawaiian pan pizza with BBQ sauce.

Past all that my favorite pizza is just a local pepperoni pizza from a local place. They are expensive as hell something like $20 for a pizza but it tastes so good.

I suspect that a lot of the folk that go into places in NYC are so used to wearing masks and government control from di blasio don't really think of salty anything anymore, they want the salt, it makes them thirsty so they can buy beers, which makes them buy more shit low quality pizzas, it's a circle for the suckers that still live there.

yeah you're probably right, it might even be the sauce or somehow the cheese too. whenever i make my own pizzas they always take on a slightly sweeter flavor because of the sauce, which is my personal preference since i like the taste of ripe tomatoes. very rare that i come across something at a restaurant stateside thats done similarly. but yeah theres only one place that im near that does it as a topping, i like it with jalapenos.
