Cooking your own food: 30 to 90 minutes (depends on food and if you have the ingredients at home or not), plus washing everything afterwards.
Ordering: open new tab in browser, pick the food you want, pay on your phone, total time < 5 minutes.
Quality of the food depends on your skill and the restaurant, but assuming you order from a proper restaurant and not some boomer shithole or McDonalds your stuff is unlikely to be massively better.

That's why, they refuse to comprehend it though, they just bitch and bitch about "food's getting too expensive" even though food's barely gone up and my budget's only gone up like $30 a month since covid started.

I don't drive and have back pain that can be pretty ruthless. I am fortunate enough to live literally a block from my local grocer and a drug store. Then there are a lot of restaurants I can walk to, which I enjoy. I started ordering from food apps as it really made life easier when I couldn't get myself out to the store. After a while I started learning to cook my favorite foods from takeout and now I find most of it boring subpar recipes. Almost all of it was making me sick as it is loaded with what fat people want to feel hit their endocrine system.

I'm switching it all out for grocery delivery. I can't go to the market each day but I can have groceries delivered in bulk and not have to worry about it anymore. After that delivery apps are still a godsend for me as I know I have them if I need them. Other than that I dislike the price for the quality. With the eat the bugs meme being a real thing I'm moving completely away from anything processed. From here on nothing but whole foods prepped by me.

8:43 p.m. — I decide that I want to hook up with the guy tonight and take an Uber to his place ($42.54). We met during a trip in the Caribbean three years ago, and it turns out he lives about 45 minutes from me. My one-night stand has turned into a fairly long-term hookup. We talk for a long while, and I learn some stuff about him and where his head is at.

11:17 p.m — The Uber back to my place is $42.95. He always offers to pay for one of my Uber rides, and I always decline. He pays 40% of his income to his ex-wife for child support, and I feel like I’d be taking away from his kids. I need to put these hookup sessions with him on pause, though, because COVID-19 is getting serious, and I need to stay inside. $42.95

You have no idea how expensive basic make-up or lingerie are.

You're also oblivious to the fact that all women crave not just those items - but well beyond. Even when in their prime, age 14-20.
