My ex-gf used to buy ready-made club pizzas from Woolworths, and they came with sachets of ranch-style sauce to drizzle over. That still seems weird to me.

The most 'authentic' Italian-style restaurants in my city will bring you ramikins of parmesan, crushed garlic, and chopped chilli in oil if someone at the table orders a pizza. The only time I really needed to use them was when my pizza was bland as hell.
