I’m very busy. According to people on this website I’m not allowed to use sauces I don’t make myself, and garlic that I don’t chop myself. I was using store bought sauces, and minced garlic, but everyone here told me I’m a flyover state tastelet white trash hick, and said I need to grow my own produce and make my own sauce. So I started a garden and bought sugar salt and other spices in bulk. After I get up at 5AM and workout, feed my kids, drop them off at day care, go to work, come back around 530 I go right to my garden and pick my produce out, i then clean it and chop it. However I used store bought knives and everyone in this site told me it’s Chinese shit and not based and red pilled, so I had to build a forge. So I built a forge and now I use my forge knife. But then I was eating meat I picked up from the grocery store, and even though I get up at 5AM as a single dad, work all day, tend my garden, and make my own sauces and utensils it still wasn’t good enough. People on here told me I need to hunt my food and I’m not based and I love Jews because i buy meat from the grocery store, so I started hunting and processing my own deer while my children watched.

So now that I’m based, red pilled, have a forge, only eat food that I grow or fish or killl myself, have my own knife set I made myself….now I have to come here and be told I have to post what I cook too?

I’m starting to think I shouldn’t live my life based on you retards judgement and comments. It’s very exhausting. It buying food from the store and using a knife set I buy from Costco really that bad?

The lighting in my kitchen is kinda shit.

I just put in the third dozen of chocolate chip cookies. I actually used chunks of 60% dark chocolate with chopped pecans and a large spoonful of tahini (sesame paste) so it almost tastes like peanut butter cookies, but not as cloying in my humble opinion.

I find they do better if I bake them on the 2nd to the bottom rack of my oven.

>>17111938
You should try making biscuits with lard. It isn't hard. Flour, lard, salt, a little sugar, a little baking powder, try to make wide flat flakes of lard, add some buttermilk till it forms a dough - then roll it out and fold it like a book a couple of times (after which you roll it out again) to make the flaky layers. It doesn't take long in reality.

for the gravy i am going to assume you're making sawmill gravy -- suggestion here is to put black pepper in when browning the gravy. in addition when making the roux use the sausage fat and add in a bit of extra butter or something so you can cook it well. then go in with milk/cream or whatever you're using. otherwise nice job

I'd say a thread like that took up about a half hour of my time with taking and editing the pics, writing the posts etc.
I don't really feel like wasting that kind of time and effort on /ck/ in its current state. Plus I haven't been cooking anything very interesting lately anyway.

made a pizza with chorizo breakfast pizza, turned out pretty well and my wife was raving about it. really the only issue with it is the crust didn't brown much but that is cosmetic.

was a homebrew so it had something like:
Rico's cheddar cheese sauce base
5-6oz mexican chorizo
4-5oz scrambled eggs
2-3oz onion
2-3oz green and red bell peppers
1-2oz minced jalapeno (slices on top would be preferred i think)
2 cups mozzarella cheese
3oz cheddar cheese sprinkled on top

time & temperature likely could be improved but i cooked it at 375f for 20 minutes.

crust i made from a bread recipe i usually use which is on the taste of home website under basic bread recipe, about 30-40% of the dough from that, cooked the rest up in a loaf.

the most elaborate thing I "cook" is 50 cent ramen with additives (green onions, shredded meat, a raw egg cracked into it while it's still hot, etc). It's about the only thing I can cook that actually doesn't taste like the poor person food it actually is. (still wouldn't cook it for a girl though.) I mostly come to this board to see what other people are cooking for ideas of what I will be able to do if I ever start getting paid better. I did get a bread oven for chrsitmas tho, so maybe I'll start posting that if I actually make anything aesthetic enough.
