the older the whisky the darker the colour.
that said blends and even most whiskys up to 12 years of age have added caramel coloring.
for reference a 12 yo uncoloured will be 0.2-0.4 on OPs pic

Age doesn't have all that much effect on color.
It's mostly storage conditions and aldulteration.
