I know they are cheap but do they taste good? How many do I ask to be satisfied? I measure 1.95 and weight 102

>> No.17107604

They taste pretty good. If you stop thinking of them as burgers and start thinking of them more as 3-piece piroshkis they make way more sense. They just taste like beef and salt and onions.

I usually get 4. 3 is roughly equivalent to one McDonalds quarter pounder.

They taste like old grease and onions.

They’re fucking delicious. I always go overboard when I go to white castle. I start feeling sick after like 7 sliders. Their fries are actually pretty good but you don’t go there for that.

salty, steamy meat, fairly tasteless bun, onions. The cheese ones have that process cheese flavor. The jalapeno cheese ones I'd say are the best.

They hit some reptile brain spot in their combination of flavors, so the whole is definitely more than the sum of its parts. The frozen ones you can pick up pretty much anywhere aren't half bad if you warm 'em up correctly, but nothing beats them from the actual restaurant

They’re disgusting. Anyone who legitimately thinks they’re good only thinks so because they’ve never had better. Buy the microwaveable ones at your local grocery store and try those. The ones they sell in the actual restaurants taste exactly the same as those. Yeah, it’s as bad as you think

>> No.17108218

They’re better than the rest of the freezer sliders by default, because they’re actually beef instead of soybeef. That doesn’t make them high cuisine, but for the price there’s no excuse with getting their alternatives.

i wouldn't call them good, but i also wouldn't say they're disgusting. would agree that the jalapeno cheese ones are the best of the frozen bunch. i pick a frozen box every once in a while from the convenience store if i'm running low on groceries and can't wait until the weekend to go grocery shopping. they're a 5/10 snack.

>> No.17108351

the frozen ones dont have the pickle which I consider to be a big deal. Otherwise the consistency is about the same, they are legitimately mushy. But I still think they taste good, usually the craving hits a few times a year and I eat enough sliders to hate myself after. Like 10-15, depending on how many chicken rings I decide to supplement my misery with.

Ja/ck/ said that they are terrible multiple times when he used to have live streams. Keep that in mind when you see people on /ck/ defending White Castle. They're defending something that even Jack finds disgusting.

Put it this way. I picked up my cousin from the airport. He was in the navy on a sub in the pacific for many years. As soon as I picked him up, before he went home to surprise his mom for Christmas. He demanded I take him to the nearest White Castle and order a crave case. He ate at least 13 of those things. They aren’t that good but they’re addictive I think they put crack cocaine in them

agree gotta get the sliced pickles if you're gonna buy them frozen

the microwave ones will always be a bit mushy but the bread will toughen up a little bit if you let them cool down.

They changed the directions on the boxes from open one end and microwave for 1 minute to remove and do all this bullshit with paper towels for multiple minutes.

What are the consequences of going with the old directions? Asking for a friend.

these are a great snack
one of my guilty pleasures
try dipping in ketchup if desired
you need several boxes

Interesting. So there's no harm in microwaving it in the plastic wrapper like the old instructions say?
