My diet had some greens, but I shat liquied, it wasn't until I incorporated 1 piece of fruit daily that the diarrhea stopped forever.

you need the right amount of fiber. too much fiber is just as bad as not enough.

Water contributes to diarrhea like blood contributes to internal bleeding.

Do not intentionally dehydrate yourself to prevent diarrhea, it won't work and you will die.

It works for dogs. Canned pumpkin has a lot of fiber, and you feed it to them for the squirts or constipation.

You don't want fiber when you have diarrhea, fiber makes it harder for the colon to pump out water from your poop, it can even incentivize higher water in the colon, it's the opposite of what you want, serious dysentery cases require very low fiber meals to recover from

>You don't want fiber when you have diarrhea
Wrong way around.
Fibre is indigestible. You don't want to increase your fiber in-take if you have constipation. Fibre helps you have more solid poops. The reason it's often combined with diuretics like metamucil is to prevent your induced shit from being liquid.

Unironically it's helped me
I ate a very high fat diet with low fibre for a long time and while I never had any issues with constipation I did get a lot of soft stools, sometimes painful ones with a lot of gas
Then I decided to start eating a lot of fibre and I haven't had this issue since, also never have to wipe anymore although obviously I do once just to check

You also need water with both. If you eat a lot of fiber when constipated and don't drink water, you'll make the issue much worse. Diarrhea dehydrates you so you need to drink water.

it depends on what's causing the diarrhea. if you just have really soft poop from a shitty diet, more fiber will probably help. if the diarrhea is caused by another problem, like dysentery or ibs, more fiber can be really bad.

There's a reason animals spend so much of their spare time eating grass or other plants despite it being a waste of time when measured by calories. We just need it to keep things moving.
