I pull off one edge of the wrapper all the way down so that the still attached portion is an isoceles triangle instead of a wide square U. Stick that in the microwave with the fully open end close to the center and the mostly sealed end towards the outside
If it helps my crappy micro is supposed to spin but doesn't since a wheel is broken. But it only overflows 3/10 of the time when i do this

I regret when I don't cook these with the seasoning and maybe a pinch of broth. The noodles get way more flavor then if you just boil them in plain water then add the seasoning. Just like any other noodle soup really. For some reason the Japanese like the cook them separately, and then also sometimes throw away the broth. Insane.
