Love to order Indian food and get drunk off wine every Saturday. Nothing like a saag palak paneer extra spicy. Got some tandoori skewers but just like every time you order restaurant chicken the cook it to fuck.

I could eat 1lb gyro
all those pita
all the dolmades
not big on desert but probably 2 baklava
And both the chicken zaki.

I mainly eat high protein, lots of meat and some carbs. Everything I eat is organic high quality though. I'm not ripped or anything right now It's kind of my off season. That's why I'm fasting lol I put on a little too much weight moving up a class.

That was my go to after work for a while when I was a fat alcoholic. Order at this tiny Turkish joint when leaving work, pick up some whiskey and a chicken shwarma plate, eat it, drink, pass out for an hour digesting all of that, go to sleep late, get up early for work, feel shitty because sleep deprived fat alcoholic, repeat.
I do not miss those days.

If you want something exotic, look at pic rel.

>> No.16985049

Definitely go especially with the way restaurants and the economy's going. You should patronize them soon. There's a little sushi place 15 minutes away with a nice older couple that runs it. My stepfather got rejected for an egregious request of them to sponsor his daughters softball team and now my whole family refuses to go there. I still do occasionally but it's a shame his arrogance and delusion gets in the way of supporting a great local shop.

>> No.16985059

>>16984738
Depends how good the place is.
A lot of middle eastern dishes marinate the meat, boil it until 90% done, remove the meat, cover it in an oil + spices mix, then cook the rice in the same water while roasting the meat at the same time.

This looks like a fast food version of it, which probably skips the roasting and depends on the sauces for moisture.

The only time I get Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food it's at a buffet, so I guess yes. There used to be a great little dive one on Brown Trail in Hurst but I think it's gone a long time. Byblios in the stockyards is still around though I'm guessing. Lebanese chicks are hot.

>You ever just order a whole mess of Middle Eastern food and go to town
OP that looks so low-end and low-quality. Go somewhere else.

When I go mediterranean, isreali or middle eastern there will be some baba ghanoush, hummus, a luscious marinated taboulleh or pita or chopped salad that isn't all lettuce like you have, or a single half slice of paperthin tomato, there's going to be a decent amount of lebneh, tahini, crispy flavorful, grill marks on the meat, right from the skewers. Pickled onions.

Why the fuck would I go to town if I've already ordered the food? Shit thread, OP.
